The second step: transferring mural sketches onto the wall

The second step: transferring mural sketches onto the wall

The first mural is underway and off to a great start! The mural depicts all of the “most important” buildings in the daily lives of the children such as homes, schools and mosques. The children first drew out each of their individual buildings on paper and coloured them in. We then photographed each drawing and uploaded them onto a laptop. Using a projector we then projected each drawing onto the wall to increase the drawings to mural size. After the children traced their drawings onto the wall they were ready to start painting! Everyone was so excited to begin our first mural and every student has been putting in their best efforts to make this a wonderful mural.
